Jane Newey and Sam Clayton are two women who are passionate about all things interiors. It is their love of art, design and plants that brought these two neighbours together.

Jane Newey is a fine art graduate and artist who has worked and taught in the field of Visual Art for over 18 years. It is her knowledge and understanding of space and form that allows her to create cohesive, three dimensional spaces that tell a visual story.

Sam Clayton has had her garden and home featured in various publications. It is with this recognition of a well honed aesthetic that Sam began to consider a career change. As friends and neighbours a dialogue between them began. Their acquired complimentary skills and joy from working together on various projects has now been formalised with the existence and creation of Hausfrau.
